Why am I not surprised?

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- The Southern California woman who gave birth to the world's longest-surviving set of octuplets has reportedly signed a deal to star in a reality television series.
People magazine reported Sunday on its Web site that Nadya Suleman has agreed to be filmed by a British production company. Suleman gave birth to the six boys and two girls in January and also has six other children.
Suleman lawyer Jeff Czech (CHEK') says production company Eyeworks hasn't yet sold the proposed show to any American television network and plans to air the series on British TV.
He says film crews will not follow Suleman and her children 24 hours a day, but will document birthdays and special family events.
He didn't immediately return a call from The Associated Press.

When you have 14 children under the age of ten, the only thing left to do is let a British television crew follow you around. You don't have time to work, so you can't make money. Eventually the donations from people who feel sorry for you will stop. Nadya Suleman should've accepted the fact that she would be turned into a freak-of-nature-television-show the moment the doctor told her there were eight babies inside her freakishly large belly. The good news here is that maybe this will take some of the attention away from that very weird Jon & Kate Plus Eight saga. Who cares if that Kate chick is a mom turned monster? I know a few moms like that and I don't think it is unusual. My mother isn't like that though. She happens to be the best.
