A horse is a horse of course of course

DEARBORN, Mich. (AP) -- A blind Muslim woman seeking more independence is being trained to use a 3-year-old miniature horse as a guide animal.
Mona Ramouni respects her Jordanian-born parents' aversion to having a dog in the home where she lives with three of her six siblings.
The 28-year-old Dearborn, Mich., resident is an observant Sunni. Many Muslims consider dogs unclean.
The answer, she hopes, is Cali. The horse is 2 1/2 feet tall, weighs about 125 pounds and has trained since November to become Ramouni's guide.
Cali can get in and out of vehicles, guide through crowds and stand still indoors.
They rode together for the first time today on a suburban Detroit bus line. The ride specifically was for Ramouni and Cali. No other passengers were on the bus.

The horse in this picture is not Cali. In fact, his name is Willis (insert obvious television reference here). More to the point, I am going to go ahead and disagree with the Muslim faith on the issue of canine cleanliness. Have you ever walked behind a horse? Miniature or otherwise those things go #2 all the time. How in the world the Koran is not opposed to that, I will never know.
