How to know if your dog is dreaming

1. Try to notice any eye movement. If you look closely, you should see their eyes twitching while closed. This is because their eyes are moving under the lids. This means they are looking around in their dream.
2. See if their nose is twitching. Look for a movement similar to a rabbit's nose. This means they are sniffing around in their dream.
3. Look for their legs moving. Quite often in puppy dreams, their legs will jab out, and begin twitching like crazy. This means they are running. Try to see how fast they're running, as this can tell you why they're running.
   
4. Add up all the clues. Now that you've found out all of your dog's actions in his dream, piece them together. Were their eyes moving a lot, and their nose was constantly sniffing? This may mean they dreamed they were in a different place that they'd never seen before. Were their eyes darting everywhere, and their legs continually moving? This could mean they were running away from another dog. Have fun with your ideas, and consider sharing them with your dog when he wakes up.
