I define the temperature outside in one way: Do I need to wear socks? Today is a sock day. Which means the weather is chilly, the wind is blowing, and the sun is not out. The sooner I can go without socks, the better.
The freedom of baring my toes is one I can only describe as joyous.
Gracie, on the other hand (er...foot), goes without socks every day. Poor little baby.
