PHOENIX (AP) -- Jurors are deliberating their verdict in the case against the main suspect in metro Phoenix's Serial Shooter case.
The charges the jury was considering Friday accuse Dale Hausner of killing eight people and attacking 20 others in random shootings from a car in 2005 and 2006. Jurors began deliberations Thursday after hearing closing arguments in the trial that has lasted nearly six months.
Prosecutors plan to seek the death penalty if he's convicted. Hausner has denied any involvement and said his roommate may have carried out some of the attacks.
The roommate, Samuel Dieteman, has pleaded guilty to two of the killings.
