Once upon a time there was a little boy named Robbie.Robbie was born on this day sometime back in the eighties (I think). One day, Robbie's family went to Disney World for a vacation. That vacation was so much fun and Robbie began to think, "Gee whiz and shucks, my birthday is going to be so great this year because I'll be in Disney World!" He was so excited that on the morning of his birthday, he woke up, took a look at Epcot Center and decided he would wait patiently for his mother to wish him a happy day.
Unfortunately for little Robbie, his mother was very busy planning trips to the Magic Kingdom and she forgot it was her tiny son's special day. The family went to the parks, enjoyed several rides, and ate Mickey Mouse shaped pancakes. Little Robbie was not his happy self, but no one seemed to notice. It wasn't until the sun was setting over the Monorail that Robbie decided enough was enough. "Mom, what day is today?" He asked. "Today is Wednesday, Robbie." She replied. Frustrated, Robbie retorted. "No, I mean what day is today??" At that, Robbie's mom stopped dead in her tracks, wheels turning in her head. The woman who never forgets anything had forgotten something special. Several moments passed before she yelled "Oh my gaaaaahd! Happy birthday Robbie!" But it was too late. The damage had been done.
This story would live on in Robbie's family until one day his younger sister would write about it in her blog. This blog entry would pay homage to that day, and to her older brother who has been so instrumental in turning her into the person she is today.
From the bottom of my heart, Happy Birthday big brother. I love you.
Im a faceman.
